IWA Digital Water Summit

The International Water Association (IWA) Digital Water Summit, to be held in Bilbao, Spain, 12-14 November 2024, is designed to promote digitalization in the global water sector.

Global NDC Conference 2017, Berlin

Targeting all stakeholders involved in water sector digitalization, the Summit will have a focus on business and industry. Water technology providers and water utilities will participate in discussions to shape the agenda.

From big data solutions to advanced management of the distribution network to digital customer engagement programmes, many utilities have begun the digital transformation journey.

The purpose of the Digital Water Summit is to answer some of the questions that businesses may have, such as:

  • What is digital water?
  • What is the difference between digital water and digitalisation?
  • How can we make our industry more digitally aware?

The Digital Water Summit will feature some of the world’s leading experts on digital water and will concentrate on how to integrate it into businesses and the global water sector.

It is co-organised by IWA with the water utility Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia and the Spanish Association of Water Supplies and Sanitation (AEAS), the IWA Governing Member in Spain.
