Climate Adaptation Summit 2021

CAS2021

Hosted on 25 and 26 January, the Climate Adaptation Summit (CAS) 2021 is an online global conference to accelerate, innovate and scale up the world’s efforts in adapting to the inevitable effects of climate change.

The Climate Adaptation Summit 2021 responds to United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres’s call for “more concrete plans, more ambition from more countries and more businesses” to make the world more climate-resilient.

Hosted by the Netherlands, the summit convenes global leaders and local stakeholders. It will see the launch of a comprehensive Adaptation Action Agenda that sets out clear commitments to deliver concrete new endeavours and partnerships to make our world more resilient to the effects of climate change.

Over the course of 24 hours, a range of events streamed from time zones across the globe will inspire change and support tangible solutions to the problems of a warming world, showing how we can achieve a climate-resilient future. One of the Action Themes at the Climate Adaptation Summit 2021 is Water.
